I started chess in July 2007, and I am tracking my progress through YouTube! Follow along with my ups and downs as I work towards getting better at chess.

To my knowledge I am the first person to begin playing chess and creating YouTube videos at the same time. My overall chess journey (things I have learned, rating improvements, etc) is all tracked here on these videos, both from what I posted and from comments and feedback from my subscribers.

Technology has greatly helped my chess improve, and I hope you find that it can benefit you in the same way. I not only appreciate but invite your text and video comments to all my videos!

Hey man great videos. Will you do a good look at the Scottish Gambit?

I think in the line with pawn C4 then black swings the rook over, Bishop takes on A7 and it would seem that it is trapped except that if black plays B6 to trap white forks Bishop and Pawn with D4, White play back to defend pawn and then Because white advanced pawn 2 instead of one it can catch up to challenge B6 before the bishop can be attacked.

Thanks for you time !!

hi jrobe. i love your videos. really great stuff - clear, and well explained.

now ive searched everywhere for something on this, but havent yet found anything any good. could you please do a video on pawn storming... basic theory etc / famous games where a definitive (or even a failed) pawn storm took place.

i think this would be really interesting and help my game and other peoples games since pawn storming can sometimes be so technical and be the reason for a won or lost game.

thanks

Hey Jrob...I've been a fan of yours forrr a long time. I just wanted to say keep up the good work, and I would also like to throw in the suggestion of looking into the Polish opening? Idk if you have or not.

Hey JRobi. I was curious as to what your handle is on the FICS? I'd like to play a game or two with you if we're ever on at the same time.

I LOVE YOUR CHESS VIDEOS!!! Well they are really helpful to me. Does Chess take luck and skill or just skill. And do you just post the games that you win on youtube or games that you lose too? Please write back.
